I’m a Realtor myself, so I have pretty high standards when it comes to who I’d trust to sell my own home here in Calgary There’s a practical reason I wanted another Realtor involved. We aren’t necessarily afforded the same protections when representing ourselves. But more importantly, I think selling your own house makes it really difficult to be objective. You’ve lived there. You know every little thing about it. You’ve got your own biases and a bit of house blindness. Having another opinion and a second set of eyes matters. I know hundreds of Realtors in Calgary personally, and I even like a bunch of them. I chose Ryan. Ryan is one of the least transactional people I know in this business. There’s no BS, no smoke and mirrors, and no trying to manufacture urgency or make the process seem more complicated than it needs to be. He just has really strong fundamentals, communicates well, tells you what he actually thinks, and treats the people involved like human beings rather than pieces of a transaction. That was exactly what I wanted representing my family and our home. Selling your own property as a Realtor is a weird experience. Having someone I trusted enough to challenge my thinking, catch the things I might not see, and just do the job properly made a huge difference. I’d recommend Ryan without hesitation.
